PenMethods is JEA's proven step-by-step process for implementing each phase of the PENFAX Pension Administration system. Each of the six phases consist of a number of tasks and activities that can be tailored to your organization's specific requirements. It's a smart, flexible approach that's designed to make implementing a pension administration system easier on you.

PENFAX Project Methodology

Plan
The Project Plan incorporates a phased and iterative strategy as required to meet client-specific objectives. Detailed estimates for the next phase are developed along with high-level estimates for all remaining phases.

Define
The Define Phase includes all activities that are directed at defining the architectures for the organization, business, and technology components of the pension solution.

Design
The Design Phase maps client business requirements to PENFAX. The results are the basis for determining the level of configuration, customization or organizational change that will be included in the implementation plan.

Build
The Building Phase includes all activities necessary to develop/create the solution components including:PENFAX configuration, customizations, data conversion aids, and end-user training.

Implement
The Implement Phase encompasses all activities needed to prepare the production environment, convert data (automated and manual), and train clients in the operation of PENFAX.

Support
The Post-Implementation Support Phase includes two major activities: PENFAX client support and release management.
